Jeff is a senior officer for the strategy, learning and evaluation department. Jeff assists with research, evaluation and measurement related to the K-12 Education Program.

Before joining the foundation, Jeff was a research associate with the Office of Innovation for Education at the University of Arkansas. He was also a Distinguished Doctoral Fellow and research associate with the UA’s Department of Education Reform. Prior to studying education policy, Jeff worked with the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., and taught math at Haas Hall Academy in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in physics and philosophy, with a minor in religious studies, as well as a Ph.D. in education policy from the University of Arkansas.
