Program Officer, Education Program

Brooke is a program officer for the Education Program. The Foundation's Education Program supports all children in finding their unique path to a life of opportunity and purpose.

Brooke began at Relay Graduate School of Education as a founding Assistant Professor of Practice on the NYC campus, teaching and leading the research, design and review of over 80 graduate-level courses in the Master of Arts in Teaching program. In 2017, Brooke became the founding dean of Relay’s Washington, D.C. campus. In its first four years of operation, Brooke grew the D.C. campus to 150 teachers serving thousands of PK-12 students across all wards of the city and developed a teacher wellness curriculum in partnership with MedStar Georgetown.

Brooke started her career in education as a teacher. She taught middle and high school social studies in both Boston, MA and Washington, DC. While at DCPS, Brooke was named DCPS Outstanding First Year Teacher and supported the roll out of the IMPACT evaluation system as a Teacher Central to Leadership Fellow.

Brooke graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University with a B.A. in political science and women’s studies and earned an Ed.M. from Harvard University in teaching and curriculum.
