Osage Park
Northwest Arkansas will soon welcome a new outdoor destination. Centrally located on I Street in Bentonville, Osage Park will offer adventure-based recreational opportunities in an urban park setting. The park will offer diverse experiences that engage and excite visitors of all ages, interests and abilities by offering opportunities to fish, explore wetlands and enjoy local music.
Inspired by its elements
Themes of aviation, art and preservation will be woven into the 55-acre landscape for a unique outdoor experience. Visitors can connect with their surroundings at an open-air pavilion, an intimate music venue and the park’s active zone, complete with multi-purpose lawns, pickleball courts and aviation-themed play.
A true recreational lake
The lake at Osage Park will be expanded by more than 6 acres to ensure better water quality for recreational activities. Once complete, visitors will be able to kayak, canoe, and paddleboard in the lake, as well as fish at multiple piers, platforms and lake banks.
Family-friendly amenities
In addition to water sports and fishing, residents will have the opportunity to explore the park by foot or bike on multi-use paths and floating boardwalks that offer a first-hand look at the site’s thriving 12-acre wetland system.
A cohesive outdoor experience
Osage Park’s seamless connection to Lake Bentonville Park will enhance the outdoor experience. At Lake Bentonville Park, visitors can take advantage of an expanded lake; a destination playground; a pavilion; boardwalks and fishing piers; and easily accessible parking options.
Select areas of Osage Park are scheduled to open to the public in summer 2020.
