Amber Oliver
Amber Oliver is a Senior Program Lead for the Education Program. In her role, she leads the foundation’s work to provide educators with the teaching tools, supports, and strategies to ensure they, and their students, achieve their full potential.
Before joining the foundation, Amber built and led organizations focused on expanding opportunity through education and technology. She most recently served as Managing Director of the Robin Hood Learning + Technology Fund, where she worked across philanthropy to advance technology-enabled solutions for students experiencing poverty. Previously, she co-founded GripTape, helping put young people in the driver’s seat of their own learning, and held leadership roles at Globaloria (now part of Carnegie Learning) and the United Nations.
Amber received her Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
