Gwen is a program support associate for the Environment Program, where she supports the Colorado River initiative.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2025, she was the systems manager for Growing GRASS, where she supported the project's mission to build a robust supply chain for byproducts of regenerative beef and bison. Gwen previously worked for the State of Minnesota's Board of Water & Soil Resources, where she led the design and rollout of the agency's grants management and conservation tracking system, and developed grants trainings and communications. She also worked as the conservation coordinator for the Izaak Walton League of America's agricultural conservation program.

Gwen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, with an emphasis on environmental policy, art, and communications.
