Nick Hellman is a Senior Program Support associate with the Environment Program, where he supports the Oceans initiative. In his role, he provides administrative and operational support for effective grantmaking.

Before joining the foundation in August 2022, Nick worked at the Impact Development Fund, a Colorado-based Community Development Financial Institution, where he helped launch a natural disaster recovery fund and supported community investment efforts.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Political Science from the University of Kansas. He also holds a graduate certificate in Greenhouse Gas Management from Colorado State University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Applied Geography and Geospatial Science with a focus on Environmental Policy at the University of Colorado Denver.
