Simran Mathews
Simran Mathews is a program officer for the Education Program. The foundation's Education Program supports all children in finding their unique path to a life of opportunity and purpose.
Before joining the foundation, Simran advised state and local governments on using data to improve the delivery of public services, ranging from public transit to public health. Simran also worked at Schmidt Futures, where she was part of the inaugural team that built the Social Safety Net Product Studio, a cross-philanthropy civic tech accelerator that expanded access to over $100 million in public benefits. She began her career working in technology and management consulting.
Simran received her Bachelor of Science and Engineering from Princeton University, where she studied Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
