To support a comprehensive effort to modernize the U.S. fisheries data system in collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), regional fisheries management councils, the fishing industry, scientists and conservation organizations
To continue advocacy work using crop insurance and other tools for risk management tools to incentivize the adoption of conservation practices to improve water quality
To increase the number of high-quality seats, strengthen advocacy efforts, ensure more coordinated communications and build the talent pipeline for New Orleans schools
To support grantee's network to serve more K-12 students (elementary, middle and high schools), scale academic assessment and data collection practices, and empower teacher-leaders with tools and supports to be more effective
To ensure the long-term sustainability of U.S. fisheries by educating priority decision makers on the importance of the conservation principles; and to continue ongoing efforts to create successful recreational catch shares and other management approaches in the Gulf of Mexico
