Johanna Morariu is Deputy Director for the Strategy, Learning and Evaluation Department. She is responsible for supporting the foundation’s strategic learning efforts and aligning rigorous data and evidence to support strategic decision-making.

Previously, Johanna was the Co-Director of Innovation Network where her work focused on organizational leadership, evaluation project design and management, staff management and business development. In this position, she collaborated with many philanthropic and nonprofit organizations across the U.S. to support their evaluation, learning and continuous improvement efforts.

Her areas of expertise include advocacy and policy change evaluation, evaluation capacity building, social network analysis and leadership development evaluation.

Johanna earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and History from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Arts in Political Science from George Mason University.
