The Bentonville Public School District has been awarded funding through the Design Excellence Program to create a visionary master plan for a new Downtown School Campus. This initiative responds to the district’s dual priorities: accommodating a rapidly growing student population and honoring the historic character of Bentonville’s downtown schools.

The final illustrative master plan will focus on strategic land use, building massing, and landscape design across the 15-acre Old High Middle School and RE Baker School site, reimagining the area as a cohesive, future-ready educational environment that reflects the community’s heritage and growth.
