The latest research from the Walton Family Foundation and Gallup’s Teaching for Tomorrow series highlights what teachers say they need to make technology support teaching and learning in the classroom.
Teachers see both promise and trade-offs in classroom technology. Fifty-nine percent say digital tools help students learn effectively, yet just 42%,say they have a lot of oversight of students’ device activity.
Teachers with greater oversight are more likely to see devices as helpful, underscoring the importance of giving educators the tools and support they need to use technology effectively.
