Accessory Dwelling Units

View schematic designs for four accessory dwelling units in downtown Bentonville

The foundation has provided a grant to the Community Development Corporation of Bentonville/Bella Vista to develop schematic designs for four accessory dwelling units in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. Robert Sharp Architects & Massengale Architecture PLLC was selected from the Design Excellence Program pool of architects for the project. The design specifications and construction documents will be shared free of charge with the general public and commercial developers. All materials will be housed on a public online portal, with the goal of encouraging additional affordable housing development in Bentonville and downtown markets.

Briartown Cottages. Workforce Housing 1 — The cottages are designed as affordable workforce housing, meeting a need in a region where homes prices have risen steeply in the past five years.
