Leo Pradela
Leonardo “Leo” Pradela is a program officer for the Walton Family Foundation’s Environment Program, where he manages a grant portfolio focused on market-based solutions that support healthier oceans and rivers. His work advances corporate accountability and more sustainable seafood markets globally, while supporting fisheries management approaches that strengthen resilience to climate impacts.
Originally from Brazil, Leo has worked across the corporate, financial services and nonprofit sectors, focusing on environmental sustainability and natural resource conservation. His experience includes roles at Wells Fargo and work with Walmart and the Walmart Foundation to reduce deforestation in global supply chains.
He holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from PUC-Rio.
