Sheldon is a senior communications officer who manages the foundation's editorial and digital content. In this capacity, he leads multimedia storytelling campaigns and digital and social media strategy. Before joining the foundation, he was a communications officer for The Pew Charitable Trusts. He has also worked as an associate editor for The Hill, Washington Bureau Chief for Postmedia News of Canada, as deputy Ottawa bureau chief and staff writer for National Post of Canada and was a freelance correspondent for Time Magazine.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and communications from the University of Regina.
