Sheldon is a senior communications officer who manages the foundation’s editorial and digital content. In this capacity, he leads multimedia storytelling campaigns and digital and social media strategy.

Before joining the foundation, he was a communications officer at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where he led storytelling for the International Boreal Conservation Campaign. He previously worked as an associate editor at The Hill, Washington bureau chief for Canada’s Postmedia News, and deputy Ottawa bureau chief and staff writer for the National Post. He was also a freelance correspondent for Time, reporting multiple cover stories for the magazine's Canada edition.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and communications from the University of Regina.
