New research from the Walton Family Foundation and Impact Research shows that at this critical moment for students, teachers are turning to new technologies like ChatGPT as a tool to enhance teaching and learning. An overwhelming majority of teachers who’ve used the tool say it positively impacted their classes (84%).
Students expressed greater hesitancy, despite reporting significant interest in jobs related to AI, fintech, quantum computing, biotechnology, 5G/6G and semiconductors. The new research reveals how students, teachers, Americans and parents feel schools are doing preparing young people for jobs of the future.
